Reflection Taking this world religions class has helped me understand different cultures, and see the similarities and differences between various religions. This class made me understand that religion is not only how people worship a God or gods but also a culture and lifestyle. Every religion has a story and origin, a scripture and some of them even a specific language. Also I learned the differences between the western and the eastern religions. It helped me to break many stereotypes I had of certain religious groups, and now I understand their beliefs and they make more sense to me. |
